Subject : General Election/Bye election-constitution of Committees at the district level.

I am directed to inform you that the Commission has issued instructions for constitution of Committees at district level for enlisting help of political parties and contesting candidates, etc in the preparation of electoral rolls, as accurate as possible, and for smooth and peaceful conduct of elections. I am, therefore, to request you to instruct the State units/District Unit of your party to co-operate with the election authorities by attending regularly the meetings of the Committees.
