(a) Above 50 Kms:- for each 10 Kms or below, an
additional amount of Rs. 8/- in each category will be
payable.
(b) The above rates will be applicable for stay away
from headquarters not exceeding 24 hours. If the stay
exceeds 24 hours, the above rates will be increased
by Rs. 45/- for Presiding Officer, Rs. 35/ for
Polling Officers, and Rs. 23/ for Class IV staff for
every 24 hours or part thereof.
The States which are paying more than the above
amounts may continue to pay at the higher rates.
